February has been a pretty boring month around our house. It has still been pretty cold outside and we are itching for spring! Adam is really busy with tax season plus he got sick. So, I have been trying to keep the two little terrorizers in line solo. Thank goodness we have so many grandparents around (upstairs and down the street!) to help out!
Emma has started playing with her dress up clothes more and Adam managed to get in a little quality dance time with her while watching a basketball game.
And this is what the majority of my day looks like. Picking up this mess of toys. I pick it up three times a day. I would just leave it but since we have to walk over it to get to our bedroom and bathroom it is pretty much unavoidable. And to top it all of, we have a serious baby gate issue. The basement stairs are ungateable and we have drug out everything imaginable to block her off but she always manages to get out, climb over, or tear down our barricade. So, when I am not picking up toys, I am chasing Audrey off of the stairs!
Adam must have been feeling bad for me because he got me these pretty flowers for Valentine's Day even though we said we were not getting each other gifts. I think I may have ironed a shirt for him that day for his gift!
