Memorial Day Weekend

We had a busy but fun Memorial Day Weekend. We got to spend time with Grammy, Pops, and Eric at their house on Friday and then again on Monday when they stopped by our house. Our friends Dave and Stephanie were also out at our house (Steph did not want any belly shots on here so they are not pictured!) We had a fun time just sitting around eating and letting Emma entertain us with her spirited personality. We let her run off some energy outside in the sprinkler during the day and after everyone left we went on a walk. We met up with the ice cream man and I let Emma pick out which one she wanted. She went for the less than appetizing “Sponge Bob”. We don’t even watch Sponge Bob (she has never seen and episode) and yet she yelled “I want Sponge Bob!” Are kids just born knowing this guy or what? After ice cream, we headed to the neighborhood pool that had just opened for the summer to check things out. In the midst of all these activities, I was on call for work going back and forth to the hospital whenever I would get called in, which leads me to where I am know, EXHAUSTED!
